Introduction
Want to learn horseback riding but do not know where to start? Start here! At PRR we are committed to ensuring our students understand basic horse safety both on and off the horse. We implement a level program to help all students track their progress at every step. Our goal is to have every student leave our facility confident in their abilities and their horses. We teach basic western riding that can transition into any western discipline should our students wish to expand their skills in the future.
Our lessons begin with an understanding of basic horse safety that is just good horse sense. These on the ground lessons include understanding barn rules, herd dynamics, horse anatomy, and grooming essentials. Once the student demonstrates a healthy understanding of the safety on the ground, we will transition into the saddle. This transition may be as quick as the first lesson!
Under saddle, students will learn walk-halt transitions, walking maneuvers, emergency stops, and more. Eventually transitioning into more complex gaits and maneuvers. Each lesson includes fun games to keep students engaged regardless of age!
Once enrolled in a program, students will be given a tracker so they may see their progress as they advance. Contact us to schedule your lesson today!

Meet the Horses
Miss Molly is a 16-year-old, 16hh, un-registered paint horse. Instructor Ashley has had her since 2020, formally purchasing her in fall of 2022. Miss Molly loves her students, but most of all, she loves being groomed!
Her favorite treats are peppermints, but she will never turn down fruit or carrots.
Molly would love to be your introduction to horses with her sweet, sometimes silly, personality.
